This is a good base camp for visiting Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. The workers were very friendly and accommodating. Full hookup gravel sites with 50 amp, picnic table, grass, pool, hot tub. Quiet, lots of happy family campers.

Deadwood is a famed Black Hills mining and gambling town - the town where Wild Bill Hickok was shot in the back. The entire town is designated a National Historic District. Deadwood offers cheap and ample RV parking. Read our postcard

Cabela's - Selling anything you could possibly need to hike, fish, hunt, etc. - with great RV parking, a kennel for your dog, a corral for your horse and a restaurant if you are hungry.

Sitting Bull Gravesite. The possible final resting place (he has been moved, and may be moved again) of Sitting Bull, 1831-1890. His grave looks out over a vast valley across the Mighty Missouri River. A beautiful place. Plenty room for a big rig towing a car in the parking area- easy turn-around too. Read our postcard
