RV Parks:
Cherry Hill Park
Always highly recommended, Cherry Hill is the RVers best-bet for a visit to DC. Some sites are just behind a stand of trees next to the freeway, so can be noisy with traffic. Though 25-30 minutes away from the Washington Mall, Cherry Hill offers daily tours, bus service and is not far from a metro stop. We drove our tow car into DC the days we stayed here. Full-service park with a pool/hot tub, gravel sites and good cell service. Grocery stores nearby.

NOTE: Our daughter went to college in DC, so we were back in the area very often, however only once in our RV (we live in Oregon!). We stayed at the Cherry Hill RV Park and found it to be a good option for a DC visit. We just love Washington!
