Americana Kampground (208) 344-5733
Not a fabulous campground, but convenient for a day or two and next to
Kathryn Albertson Park - a fabulous park for biking, running or walking the
dog. Cable TV at some sites, good cell service.

Lava Flow Campground
If you love Geology, this park is like being in a
candy store.
Craters of the Moon is on a huge lava flow and
there are many lava tubes to explore. Be sure to
wear good shoes (the rocks are sharp!) and bring a
good flashlight or head lamp. Even if it is hot,
bring a sweater into the lava tubes - it is chilly
down there. Not for the claustrophobic. For a
dry-camping spot, I give it pretty high marks.
Campsites have no hook-ups, there are no showers, no
wood fires are permitted. Water is available. They
do not take reservations, 14-day stay limit. There
are some sites for big rigs (we stayed in #45).

Eden/Twin Falls

Anderson Camp
It was a pretty tight squeeze to fit into the site,
but we came in after dark and left in the morning.
Right off the I-84 freeway, so a good spot for
overnight.

Three Island Crossing State Park
I am sure this is a busy park on summer weekends,
but every time we have stayed here, we have had few
neighbors. Great campground, 30 amp sites with
electricity. No sewer at site, but they have a dump
station. It is like camping in a lovely picnic
ground - huge, lush, lawn and nice shade trees. You
can get your satellite in most sites. It is often
windy here.

The park is in some very pretty territory however, and if you want to explore...
It's a dump. This is only my opinion... and I could be wrong.
