Estes Park

Spruce Lake RV Park
Spruce Lake RV Park is close to town and close to Rocky Mountain National Park. We had a back-in site with 30 amp power on gravel. We had a picnic table, and cell service.  This park is your best-bet for a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Fort Collins

Fort Collins Lakeside KOA
We really enjoyed this nice park and Fort Collins is a very lovely town. 50 amp paved pull-throughs with picnic tables, good cell service, great pool and hot tub, newspaper box. Quiet and a pretty good location.

Monument RV Resort
We pulled in here on a weekend evening and they had a site for us! The town was buzzing with a mountain bike festival/ride and all the restaurants were packed. Great water pressure, big pull-throughs, pool and nice hot tub. Gravel sites with picnic tables. Good cell service. Friendly owners.

Mesa Verde National Park

A & A Campground
This campground is very convenient for a visit to Mesa Verde - it is across the road from the park entrance. Not exactly a luxurious resort, but they have all the hook-ups and  an upper-level gravel lot for big rigs. Poor cell service, picnic tables, pool, hot tub, dog friendly - and nice staff. They must be in some sort of vortex, because we could pick up television stations from Canada on our antenna!

Mesa Verde RV Resort (not inspected by RVGoddess.com)
Mesa Verde RV Resort is also close to the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park. They are especially good for big rigs and offer long gravel pull-through premium sites. 30 & 50 amp service. Free high-speed wireless internet in their park. Pool, hot tub, store and pet sitting. The RV park has several patios for lounging and a nice lodge with a fireplace for relaxing with a book from their lending library.

Pueblo Lake State Park
Very nice state park with pull-through sites. Electric hook-ups only. Very quiet. White American Pelicans were breeding here (May) during our visit. Covered patios, picnic tables, good cell service and tons of bike paths.

Royal Gorge - a must-stop - not for those with a fear of heights. Plenty of RV parking.
