Apache Palms RV Park in Tempe, Arizona
Apache Palms RV Park

Apache Palms is really small and a bit difficult to maneuver, but it is just a mile or so from Sun Devil stadium and ASU campus.) This park is meticulously maintained by the friendly owner. Great water pressure, gravel sites with patios and picnic tables, good cell service, free wifi, recycling, pool and okay hot tub. There is a small extra charge if you want 50 amp. It is a little noisy as it is on a busy street. The light-rail line runs just steps away from the RV Park.

Mesa Spirit RV Park
I gave this place four stars, but just because they have everything. It is a 55+ park with mostly park models. They have an area in the back for losers like us who want to only spend a few days (not the winter) at their campsite.

Restaurants:
Riazzi's Italian Gardens | Review
Gordon Biersch | Review - I know it is a chain, but they have deep-fried artichoke hearts!
