Grand Canyon National Park

The view of the Grand Canyon from The Watchtower -
notice the Colorado River winding through the canyon.
Even if you can only spend one day at
Grand Canyon
National Park, do not miss the opportunity. The roads are fine for
even the largest RV and most of the look-out points offer RV parking. If
you can't get into a campsite along the rim, there are private
campground nearby and in Flagstaff (80 miles away). Restaurants, gift
shops, bookstore, museums, tourist information, hiking, biking, raft
trips, trail rides, post office and fuel service in Tusayan (seven miles
outside the park), laundry, showers and kennel services are available.

This campground is inside Grand Canyon National
Park. Long full-service paved/gravel sites with 30
or 50 amp electrical and cable TV. Great water
pressure, BBQ grill, picnic tables and recycling.
Quite a trek to the bath house though. Spotty cell
service throughout the park. Don't leave your sewer connection attached outside
or the birds will peck holes in the hose (so said the ranger). Reservations always
recommended.
