The view from around here this morning

All the pretty coaches, lined-up in a row
Indio, California: A lazy Sunday. So nice and
relaxing. After looking through the paper and drinking a pot of coffee, we
headed out to run on soft, sandy trails in La Quinta. It was sunny and warm
and we did not need to wear jackets on our runs this morning. Yeah!

Trails in La Quinta
If you felt an earthquake this morning, it was just me
plodding down this dusty trail.

What more can a girl ask for - sun, clear air, flowers and a
little exercise with her favorite runner! DT ran a bit with me, but he can
walk faster than I jog... I think he was just being polite. Such a mensch.
So sweet. That's love, people, that is love.
The afternoon was spent outside on the patio, chatting with neighbors. There
are so many Duck fans in this RV resort and they all love the Magna
Peregrinus, and wish us the best for a Victorious Rose Bowl next Friday. GO
DUCKS!
We cooked together tonight. I brought lamb chops from
New Seasons
Market that I had
marinated in olive oil, garlic and rosemary - frozen and sealed with
my
fabiola vacuum-sealer machine
at home. DT grilled the chops while I roasted butternut squash in the oven and
made a green salad. Delicious, nutritious and colorful.

One lamb chop is enough me... my big strong Driver gets two.

Roasted butternut squash: Garlic. Olive oil. Salt. Pepper.
Heaven. Dang, if that wasn't a great combination.
Until my next update, I remain, your well-fed correspondent.
