Cheesy Day in the Valley

Castle Air Base, California: Our plan was to spend the morning with the family, then hit the road south. But since no one had anywhere in particular to go and no one had anything in particular to do, we all just decided to linger an additional day to visit with Dave's family.

Our Grand Dawg, Reese, needed a break from his tough doggie daycare routine.

We made dinner plans, but still had time to enjoy some great San Joaquin Valley Mexican food at the Sinaloa Cafe in downtown Merced.

For our evening repast, I was assigned macaroni & cheese. It was loaded with cheese,  jalapenos, onion, garlic and green peppers - and was popular.

After dinner we had a little fashion show and a little photo shoot. All four cousins were together tonight and it was quite a sight (if I say so myself).

They tried their best to pose politely for my camera.

But the girls were more interested in clowning-around tonight. I have twenty photos, but I will kindly only post two tonight.

At least someone in this family can retain some sense of composure and dignity.

Until my next update, which I swear will be from the road, I remain, your cheesy correspondent.
