Family day in Palm Springs
Indio, California: Our bus has wheels for a
reason, and they are beginning to turn square. We have been here for 38
nights. That's too long - time to hit the road!
Our last day in Indio was spent with our daughter, Lisa. The day began with
Lisa sleeping-in while her Dad and I went to the
La Quinta Farmer's Market. The open-air market, featuring organic
produce is open through May from 8-12 every Sunday morning. Here are a few
photos of our stroll through the market:

Farms organic produce
We bought strawberries from
Jaime
Farms, a bag of lemons for ONE DOLLAR, a bottle of yummy
olive oil and a loaf of kalamata olive bread. Stimulating
the local economy. The market also provides free kid or dog
watching while you shop. Love that.
Lisa was up when we returned to the bus and we took our
Grand Dawg, Reese, for a long walk. With the warm weather
the past few weeks, the flowers in the resort are simply
beautiful:

Lisa chose
Roy's as our Bon Voyage dinner spot. Roy's serves
"Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine" at 30-ish world-wide locations.
Our food was inventive, light and delicious and our server
was very personable and quick. Roy's restaurant is very
attractive and we couldn't have been happier with our
decision.
