Los Angeles, California: DT and I drove two-plus hours from Indio to reach our girl's home in Los Angeles. We will stay with her for a few days.
After lighting her menorah... we drove up to near-by Griffith Park for the Los Angles Department of Water and Power Festival of Light - a drive-through light show with a Christmassy theme The prettiest part was the entrance tunnel LADWP: Celebrating a Century of Service The Golden Gate Bridge The Griffith Park Observatory Even the Hollywood sign was represented The Grand Finale was the Statue of Liberty - with Celine Dion (a Canadian) singing God Bless America in the background.
Lisa planned a lovely dinner for just the three of us tonight. Grilled chicken sausages, roasted potatoes and a tossed salad.
