Bus Wash
Indio, California: Again, another sunny
warm day in the desert. We both worked all morning, but enjoyed the 75°
afternoon! (Sorry to my family in snowy Colorado.)

6 o'clock this morning: "Sunrise over RV Park"
One great benefit of staying at a fancy RV resort is they
often allow reputable service crews inside the park to wash your
rig, fix your satellite issues or - hey - work on your water pressure
problem. Today we availed ourselves to two such services.
The same crew that has washed Our Intrigue for five years, gave the
Magna Peregrinus her first "bath" today. Dynamic Mobile
Detailing (760-250-5815) charge between $1.50 and $2 foot,
depending on make/model/slides/condition, etc. The wash includes the roof
and everything is done by hand using mitts or cloths - no brushes on our
Clear Coat finish - and is then hand-dried.

Nice reflection!

Are you getting sick of looking at photos of our new motorhome yet?
I promise to stop soon.

The crew heads off to their next job
The second service was sent over by Country Coach. The
factory sent Mike out to see about our water pressure problem. How about
that? Would you believe our water pressure regulator was installed BACKWARDS
at the factory? Impressive, eh? That's why we paid the big bucks, folks!
Mike had it switched in no time and we can now take a real shower! Yeah,
Mike! Annoying, but thank goodness it was just a simple fix and thank
goodness Country Coach takes great care of their customers!
Debbie & Mark came over for dinner. I made a baked spinach-artichoke dip for
appetizer and DT grilled chicken breasts that I had marinated in garlic,
dried herbs, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and white wine. Dinner was
served with a simple Caprese Salad and finished with bus-made panna cotta
topped with fresh raspberries.

Spinach and Artichoke (baked) spread - served with crackers

Caprese-like Salad. Sliced roma tomatoes with fresh buffalo mozzarella. I
made a dressing with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil chiffonade, kosher
salt, pepper, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil

Happy Diners: Debbie, Mark and My Driver.
Anyone notice how four placemats fit perfectly on our new table???

It was a busy day. We had a wonderful evening with old (I
mean forty years!) friends. We enjoyed delicious foods and wine. We have a
dishwasher! We heard good music. Had good weather. Fixed our water
pressure. Have a clean motorhome. We are together and well. Life is good.
Until my next update, I remain, your happy correspondent.
