Pancakes & Pooches

Indio, California: DT and I were invited a few sites down for breakfast this morning. Steve & Karen had a pancake party with Steve's super-healthy oat & apple pancakes. (He promises to email the recipe... are you reading this, Steve?)

My favorite photo of the day! Steve & Karen have a part-beagle, Frankie. Frankie (a girl dog)
was trying to eat Karen's pancake. Frankie reminds us so much of Our Old Beagle, Snickers.


Dixie lives a few motors down and, like Snickers,
appreciates a good chair... no reason to sit on the grass like a mere dog.
We met Dixie days ago - but just met her owners at the pancake party this morning.
