We are home

We didn't plan to be home today, but by early afternoon we were just too close to home... so here we are! Just as well, as on Friday we are leaving for a three-week road trip to follow the Ducks.

The weather had been so great the first week of this trip, and now it was cold and showery. We hitched up and left the Yakama Nation, heading south on Highway 97. Once we reached the Columbia Gorge, we stopped at the Maryhill Museum of Art, had a sandwich and then visited the museum.

Trip facts: 1,040 safe miles, ten nights, five campsites. It was a very good trip, especially since we had not visited most of the areas before. It would be fun to go back and spend more time exploring.

Until my next update, I remain, your "there's no place like home - except your motorhome" correspondent.
