Back in Eugene

Eugene, Oregon: We seem to always return to Eugene. Since we drove so too far yesterday, we didn't have too far to drive today - only 100 miles - so we relaxed a bit this morning and exercised in the pretty Seven Feathers RV Resort.

I took my camera along on my walk this morning and snapped a few photos. Seven Feathers RV Resort is one of the nicest campgrounds we visit - yet we never stay here for more than an overnight stop. Why? I do not know... but since the battery on our Honda was dead (again) and we couldn't find anyone to jump us (again), we thought we may be living at the Seven Feather RV Resort.

Here are many, many photos of the Seven Feathers RV Resort in Canyonville, Oregon (Interstate 5, exit 99):

Pretty nice, eh?

Finally one of the gardeners at the RV resort called one of the casino security guards and a guard came up and jumped our Honda with a rechargeable doohickey. (I have already ordered one from amazon.com - I am tired of being helpless.) DT offered him a nice tip, but he refused. Apparently security personnel at casinos are not allowed to accept tips. (On further thought, it made complete sense.) Anyway, we were off towards Eugene in no time.

We arrived at our usual home-away-from-home, Premier RV Resort... checked-in and went out to Safeway for tailgating supplies. I am making two huge Chile Rellano Casseroles for the game Saturday!

This afternoon, DT and I finally watched the Sex & The City movie - probably the last two people on the planet to watch this movie. It wasn't very good, but there were loads of pretty girls in pretty dresses. Then we went to one of our favorite restaurants in the Fifth Street Public Market - Marché. We ordered the same thing we always order - Steak Frites - and enjoyed a perfect meal before returning to our motorhome to crash for the night.
