Drive to Palm Springs

Indio, California: Today we drove 260 miles. Besides stopping to pay ONLY $3.28 per gallon for diesel, we don't have much to report. (Well, we did have a lot of traveling Duck fans honk and wave at us on I-10 today!) We are overnighting in what is probably the nicest RV resort in America - the Motorcoach Country Club. It was 93° when we checked-in to our campsite this afternoon. Look at our view:

Our view - isn't that pretty?

We had a great dinner with old friends at Stuft Pizza and will continue on our drive tomorrow. Sorry for such a boring report... but all we did today was drive, buy diesel and eat pizza...

Until my next update, I remain, your Coachella Valley correspondent.

RV Park: Motorcoach Country Club. As stated above, this place is the Holy Grail of RV parks. It has everything. Incredibly expensive, incredibly well-maintained, well-appointed and luxurious. Motorhomes only. $89.
