Ducks Win!
Tempe, Arizona: It was another
absolutely hot and sunny day in Arizona. A perfect day for a flock of Ducks to
swoop down on unsuspecting SunDevils and steal a win.

Apache Palms RV Park
Every time we come to Tempe for a game, we have stayed at the Apache Palms RV
Park. It has everything anyone could need - with the possible exception of room.
Spaces are fairly tight here, but that is the price you pay for the convenient
location to the ASU campus. Sites are on red-rock gravel and the RV park is
meticulously maintained by the friendly owner. Signs are prominently posted: if
you report anyone not picking up after their dog or tossing a cigarette butt,
you get a free night. This owner is serious about tidiness.

Mary and I enjoyed a quiet afternoon while DT, Woody, Kathy & Steve played golf
today at the Karsten Course on the ASU campus. We all went over to the the
stadium for the 7p kick-off. On our way through the parking lot, we ran into
tailgaters who had attended high school with our children - and they invited us
to join their party. No matter where we go, we find friends!

The Ducks travel well and filled the entire corner of the end zone

This sign is amusing (the Salad Bowl was renamed the Fiesta Bowl)

Apparently the "House of Heat" ain't so hot

And apparently the SunDevil fans are not very loyal - still over 4 minutes to go

After the game we came home and went to bed. We are tired (but
happy) Ducklings. Until my next update, I remain, your GO DUCKS correspondent.
