WE ARE HOME! We arrived home this afternoon around 3 pm, after driving along the very-full Detroit Reservoir. We stopped only once, to have a sandwich at the Detroit Dam. We had cloudy and cold weather and came into the Willamette Valley, exactly the way we left it 86 days ago - with the heater on in the motorhome. Everything is SO green!

Our house looks wonderful and seems excessively large. Karri is a very good housesitter - Snickers was well spoiled in our long absence. He is now deaf, blind and too old to enjoy traveling and is much happier at home in his familiar surroundings.

We traveled 3,836 miles in the coach, and countless more in the toad. We visited 6 states and 6 National Parks. In 86 nights, we stayed in 23 different campgrounds, at an average of $38 per night. On this trip, we stayed in one place longer than we have ever stayed before - Palm Springs for 29 nights. Best of all, we had a safe trip and are still, pretty-much, speaking to each other.
