Page, Arizona: We are fairly sure it was Spring-Ahead last night, but we have all these auto-setting clocks, and are in Arizona which does not "do" daylight savings time, so we were never really sure what time it was all day. The weather was simply fantastic - the best weather of the trip so far. I will just say we woke "early". DT drove the bus down to the local high school, and I followed in the car. While he did a track work-out, I put the satellite up in the parking lot and downloaded two days of emails and book orders, printed shipping labels and answered emails.

DT found an adorable puppy in the parking lot. Someone had, at one time, put a baby tee-shirt on the dog. The puppy had out-grown the tee-shirt and it must have been very uncomfortable for the little guy. He gobbled up all our dog biscuits and drank a bottle of water, but I could not get him close enough to me to snip off the binding cloth. I tried! Hopefully the pup will hang around the school and tomorrow a little kid will win him over?

After a quick shower, we were ready to hitch-up the Honda and drive with Mom and Dad to Page, Arizona. However, they went ahead because we were having a brake warning light issue. The warning light came on telling us something was wrong with our brakes. Being practical, I told DT that HE should drive the motorhome and I would follow in the car. I mean, seriously, why should we BOTH go over a cliff? As suddenly as the fault light appeared, it disappeared - so we were able to travel together today - in complete safety. And what a beautiful drive! Simply fabulous vistas all 150 miles to Page - high mesas, mountains, cliffs, spires and monuments... in all of Mother Nature's red-toned colors.

We all checked-into the Page-Lake Powell Campground and drove over to Glen Canyon on the Colorado River to see the bridge and the Glen Canyon Dam. (NOTE: you are not allowed to bring anything into the visitor center or the Glen Canyon Dam overlook. Not even your purse. Those terrorists may be hiding out in a cave somewhere, but they are still stopping us from taking our purses inside a visitor center!)

In the evening, we had a very nice pizza at Strombolli's in Page.
