Moab Golf Course | Arches National Park

Moab, Utah - Whoa, we sure have been in Moab a long time! We really like it here, but DT put the awning in tonight, so that means we are hitting the road in the morning. Not a lot of chitter-chatter today - just lots of photos.

This morning we we golfed at Moab Golf Club. It really is a nice course - very, very green and well-irrigated. It wasn't too long, so I did alright. DT did very well and complained about it. (What else is new?) I have changed my grip. By the third hole with the new grip I was putting for par. (I did not say that I made par, just that I was putting for par.) Here are a few photos of my honey and a bunny.

Of course, we see more wild life on the golf course than in the National Parks. Today we saw rabbits, prairie dogs, Ravens, Magpies, lizards and the dreaded Starling. After our golf - it has cooled-down to only 99 degrees today - we came home for a salad and a rest. Later, we headed back out to Arches National Park to see the arches in a different (and cooler) light. Below are a whole mess of photos of arches.

This evening, as we were at Arches National Park quite late, found us back at our usual bar stools at the Moab Brewery at 9 pm (Utah time). We had a light dinner. DT tried the "Dead Horse" ale. ("You can't beat a Dead Horse" is the slogan of the brew.) We met more interesting people - hikers and mountain bikers on the road of life.
