San Diego Wild Animal Park
San Diego, California: Sorry, not much time
for an update tonight, so I will make this quick: We spent the day at the
San
Diego Wild Animal Park and what a wonderful day we had! Beautiful, warm
weather - sunny all day. When we arrived at the park, we first took the
train ride around the park and then spent the rest of the day exploring
different areas of the compound. The park has successful breeding programs
for several species and they have a wide variety of African and Asian sheep,
deer, cattle and antelope.

For one dollar, you could buy a small cup of nectar to feed
to the Lorikeets and birds really liked DT.
The Bird Man of San Diego
We are going out to a farewell dinner tonight and then we
leave for Merced in the morning and everyone else remains to enjoy the San
Diego area for a few days before heading up to Palm Springs.
