I hope this recipe does not reach you too late to stop off to the package store before your Thanksgiving guests arrive. Trust me - it is worth the diversion. Though I have only worked on this concoction a few times - it was easy to perfect. Good ingredients lend themselves to many uses, and this recipe will not disappoint. It is flexible and can be used in an assortment of ways to stimulate the palates of your holiday (Thanksgiving, Hanukkah or Christmas) guests. Prepare it by the ounce (or by the cup) and relax. Pomegranate Sparker (Master Recipe) 1.5 oz/cup premium vodka 1 oz /cup Pomegranate Juice (such as Pom) 1 oz/cup orange liquor (such as Cointreau) 1 oz/cup Pama Pomegranate Liquor Mix the potion together in a pitcher. Now you have several options to produce your cocktails. 1. (MY PERSONAL FAVORITE) Fill highball glass with ice. Fill glass half-full with Pomegranate mixture. Top with sparkling water - or even better - lemon-flavored sparkling water. 2. Drink this mixture on the rocks (for serious-drinkers only). 3. Chill the pomegranate mixture. Pour into champagne flutes - about one-third full - and top with premium champagne. Don't forget to garnish with a few pomegranate seeds... or lemon slices... or orange peel. (See, I told you it was a flexible recipe.) Seriously - with all the anti-oxidant properties of pomegranate seeds, this cocktail is practically healthy. Just kidding.
