TrackTown, USA: Not much to report. Yes,
it rained (because we had our motorhome washed) and Brian returned to install
the new slide room awnings. I'd tell you the new awning look fantastic, but it
is raining so hard (and it's so cold) I don't want to go outside to look.
I'm trusting Brian.
But I do want to share two photos tonight of My Beautiful Grandchildren and brag
about My Clever Daughter. When Lucy was about a week old, Lisa came-up with the
most brilliant plan for a birth announcement. She went to the florist and
brought home an assortment of greens and flowers, styled them on a white
background, placed a swaddles Lucy in the center and hired Los Angeles
Miranda Corbell, to document the scene.
Wow. Just Wow.
The final product was a large flat card with Lucy's name, birth date and vital
stats superimposed over the bottom of the photo in white. My heart leap with
happiness when I saw this photo. So precious...
...but then I flipped the card over and burst into happy tears:
I realize Miss Corbell had the two most gorgeous subjects ever
to photograph, but can't say enough about the fabulous job she did in capturing
this very special moment.
Until my next update, I remain, your weepy correspondent.
