Indio, California: Leo does not like
goodbyes. He will not give us goodbye kisses or hugs. We just have to kinda walk
out the door like we are going out on an errand.

And I'm pretty sure there was one last tickle-attack from Bubba before we

Dad and Mary arrived and we talked for hours and we fed them well. They are
Seahawk fans, so of course the game was on the television.
DT grilled a butterflied chicken (that I had marinated overnight in white wine,
lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped rosemary, salt & pepper). It was so yummy. We

browning the butter and sprinkling sea salt flakes over the cookies before
baking. Ridiculous. My Dad just loves chocolate chip cookies.
Dave and I had a great weekend with my Dad and Mary - we are all caught up
and will see them again very soon.
Until my next update, I remain, your happy correspondent.
