Quasimodo...
... or how Our Girl became a monster overnight.

Here is a photo of our daughter, Lisa. As you can plainly
see, Lisa is a lovely girl and pretty much in no way resembles Quasimodo.
She does not have a hunchback and her face is without disfigurement.
Until yesterday.
Yesterday Lisa had an allergic reaction to hair dye. Hair dye. I don't mean
to make light of the situation. I just want to warn you of what is possible.
Lisa was in the emergency room TWICE yesterday. After having her black hair
dyed black (???) - at the same salon, by the same stylist, with the same
product that she has used many times - her face blew up like she had been
stung by a hive of bees! For some reason, her body reacted in a very bad
way.
Check this out. She did not turn red - just was very, very swollen. Lisa
sent us photos, but I will never post them. If you go to the link above, you
will get the general idea.
Lisa said she looked like Quasimodo.

No, not THAT Quasimodo - created by Disney for Children.

She claimed to look this THIS Quasimodo.
The doctors finally had to give Lisa steroids and antihistamines
intravenously to stop the swelling. I was on my way to the airport last
night, when the hospital released her and her friend Angela promised to stay
the night with Lisa to make sure she was alright.
Saved me a trip to Los Angeles.
This morning, Our Girl is resting comfortably. The swelling
is still present, but is slowly subsiding. Lisa will not leave her house, and
now she says she looks like this:

Renee Zellweger
To me, Lisa will always look just like this:
On the positive side, Lisa has sworn-off dyeing her hair. Be
careful out there, people!
Until my next update, I remain, your "naturally greying" correspondent.
