Dinner with Kris

So excited about our departure tomorrow morning! Our bus is (nearly) packed and we are ready to go!

The reason for our two-day departure delay is our sister-in-law, Kris, is here from Denver visiting her Mom and sister - and we were able to borrow Kris (and her sister, Toni) for the evening.

Lemon Blueberry Tart

It is officially blueberry season in the Willamette Valley - another bumper crop too. So, I baked my Lemon Blueberry Tart for Kris this afternoon. And don't you know I also made vanilla ice cream. All organic too! Nothing but the best for family!

Coho Salmon

DT grilled this beautiful  piece of fresh Coho salmon, and I served sautéed corn off-the-cob (with butter and basil) and a green salad. Easy, delicious meal. A few corks may have been pulled.

We had a lot to talk about.
