Orange Bourbon Sour

Sorry to say, I have been really holding on out you, Dear
Reader. Probably because I have been spending so much time testing this
recipe. I'm only one woman.
Since banning high fructose corn syrup from our lives, I have had to come up
with a good substitution for sweet and sour mix. Home-made sweet and sour
recipes still involves a lot of sugar. Why not be more creative?
This cocktail is sweet (orange juice) and sour (lemon juice) and boozy (Jack
Daniels). These three liquids are the only ingredients. Dang, it's nearly
health food!
For one cocktail:
2 oz. bourbon or Tennessee Whiskey (I use Jack Daniels)
2 oz. orange juice
1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
For a small pitcher:
1½ cups bourbon
1½ cups orange juice
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
Serve in an old fashioned (rocks) glass, over plenty of ice. Garnish with an
orange slice. The pitcher will serve 6 to 8 cocktails, depending upon how
much ice is in the glass.
